Finding the Right Avenues

Finding the Right Avenues

There are virtually millions of ways to market your brand, and no doubt, you feel like you've tried your fair share of them already. As you probably know then, not all of them work. Chalk those experiences up to important lessons learned in your marketing education. However, you still have to open to all avenues at all times. Just because the Internet didn't work 10 years ago doesn't mean it won't work today - 10 years is a long time for an advertising medium to evolve. Likewise, just because the yellow pages worked when you first opened your practice doesn't mean it's going to still bring in the patients you're looking for.

You already know word-of-mouth is the best kind of referral. But you can't rely just on that! You have to open yourself up, entice new patients, and be willing to grow and take your practice to the next level. You can't do this without attracting a whole new echelon of patients.

Dabble in lots of different mediums. Identify a few that you think are really working, or have a lot of promise, and perhaps allocate more money in those. If you're not ready for a full-blown website, consider a dental listing website. If you're not ready for a television ad, consider a less expensive radio ad on a trial basis. Dabbling is a great way to see what's working, and what's not!
